Veterans Booklet Submission Deadline is October 18th

We are creating a special Veterans Booklet to honor and recognize the veterans in our church community. Each veteran is invited to submit a brief personal statement about their military service and a photograph of themselves as a veteran (military service photos are also welcome). Please send your statement and photograph to Pat Magnant, who is coordinating the collection and production of the booklet. Collection begins now, and the submission deadline is: October 18

Church Retreat – Expanding the Circle October 2 & 3

As Holy Innocents’ looks ahead, we recognize that God is already at work in our congregation and community. This retreat is an opportunity to listen, discern, and respond faithfully to God’s call together. During the weekend, we will focus on equipping and mobilizing the entire church to expand the circle through our Baptismal Covenant, reflection on Scripture’s promises, community dialogue, shared leadership, and a renewed commitment to the Body of Christ. Confirmation, Reception and Reaffirmation Classes

Classes will meet on Sundays in the Conference Room between August 16th and October 25th at 1:00 pm.

Confirmation (traditionally 13 years and older – one who is ready to make a mature proclamation & commitment to Christ and the Church)
Reception (one who’s from a differing denomination and would like to be received into the Episcopal Church)
Reaffirmation (one who has been confirmed in the Episcopal Church before, but has found a new sense of understanding in their relationship with Christ and would like to renew their commitment)

The service of confirmation, reception, and reaffirmation will take place on November 1st at the 10:30 AM service with Bishop Scharf. Please contact Fr. Bryan or Rev. Kristina if you have any questions.
