Transforming Lives for Christ Feeding Ministry

Transforming Lives for Christ Feeding Ministry

The Transforming Lives for Christ Feeding Ministry of Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church in Valrico seeks to spread the Gospel, feeding souls while providing nourishing hot meals to those in need in the Brandon, Valrico, and Dover areas of eastern Hillsborough County.

Our goal is to expand the ministry into the community as the need increases. We are grateful for any support, and we accept Corporate Sponsorships. Please click HERE for additional Corporate donation information. Please click HERE if you would like to donate to the TLC.

We offer a free hot meal to anyone who needs a hot meal on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from Noon to 2:00 PM

We are serving meals in our Parish Hall, at Dover Elementary, and at Bread of Refuge and Valrico sites as needs continue to grow. Volunteers are needed to cook, serve, pray, pack, transport, and distribute meals two Saturdays per month. If you would like additional information about volunteering with the TLC Ministry, click HERE.

Bringing God’s love to his people in need, feeding souls and bodies.

Cooking

A team of volunteers scales up recipes, purchases ingredients, and cook the meals on-site in the Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church kitchen.

Preparing

A team of volunteers portion out meals and serve them in our Parish Hall and offer prayers. Hot food is distributed to off-site locations for meals to be served.

Serving and Distribution

A team of volunteers serves meals on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays every month in the Parish Hall. Additional meals are distributed via Meals on Wheels and off-site locations that are easily accessed by those in need.
